'Tis the Season for Strategy (AKA Prepping for Vendor Events)

You know how people will RSVP “Interested” to an event and then never show up? Doesn’t that drive you insane? You get so excited about all the people who seem like they want to attend – they post about how they think they may come, they just need to check on a sitter, talk to their sister – and then – crickets. Its depressing, is disheartening, and more than that, it feels like a colossal waste of your time to put together a huge event no one’s going to attend anyway. So many of us stop trying.

But what if there was a way to prime your events, excite your audience, remind your customers, and increase the hype and chance of attendance? What if the reason people weren’t attending wasn’t because they didn’t want to, but that they forgot, or needed a reminder, or just needed some hyping up.
